I am a collector of words

Words feed me, free me, comfort, uplift and heal me. I've been saving my favorites in books, handwritten over the years and thought that perhaps in sharing them, not only am I preserving them for myself, but perhaps others may also find healing in them as I have.

Belonging

"Your persona, beliefs and role are in reality a technique or strategy for getting through the daily routine.   When you are on your own, or when you wake up in the middle of the night, the real knowing within you can surface.   You come to feel the secret equilibrium of your soul.   Ironically, your trust in your inner belonging radically alters your outer belonging.   Unless you find belonging in your solitude, your external longing will remain needy and driven."   John O' Donahue
